From IRA President Steve Sinclair, "Hope you all had a joyous Christmas and holiday week. The new year should be an especially bright one for the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series. We're in the final stages of the schedule process, and while it is solid enough where it could be released, I would like to take another few days to try and fine tune it and make it the best it can be. A couple of tracks were currently talking with would impact a few multi-race weekends, so we're pushing them for an answer. I will be working down in Tulsa at The Shootout & The Chili Bowl from Jan. 1 - 10, and I'm sure a few more requests will come in down there, and ya just never know, something may be worthwhile. The schedule is a tough deal and getting tougher each year. It wasn't long ago where announcing it in the large Daytona issues in the racing publications late Feb.was standard, now it seems there truly is no offseason anymore....The WI Motorsports Show is moving back to the Midwest Express Center this year, it will be the first weekend in Feb. with move in slated for Friday night."
