No matter if you are a fan or a competitor; you will need to walk up a hill to see it. Just like Richard Dreyfuss climbed up a hill to see Devil’s Tower in “Close Encounter of the Third Kind”, you climb up to see what you imagined it would look like. For many, that is how their first experience is when they come to Madison International Speedway the first time. It’s a short drive off of Hwy 138, down a country road to a piece of property that becomes a gathering place to see some of the best racing around. Press Release (05-2-08)
Several ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment teams took advantage of an open practice this past Saturday at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI. This was the only opportunity for the teams to test given the seven day no test rule, the rule that is enforced at the track hosting the upcoming ASAMT event. Defending Madison winner, Brandon Hill was on hand and was excited to be back, “I couldn’t wait to get back here, I wish we came more often,” Hill stated. “It’s always been a good place for me. I have only ran here two or three times and some pretty good runs, and last year, obviously, we ran real well. We need a good run." Press Release (04-29-08)
