Monday, January 24, 2005 (Cambridge, WI) – Roy Kenseth, owner of RK Race Promotions, has announced that the DeWalt All-Star Challenge at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI will now be on Tuesday, June 21, 2005. It will still be a Wisconsin Challenge Series sanctioned event.

The change was made to avoid a conflict with another super late model special in Wisconsin.  “My goal with this show is for the fans in the Fox Valley area to see Matt (Kenseth) come back and race at a track that has helped his career.”  Kenseth stated.  “I also want the fans in Wisconsin to have an opportunity to see all of the special events that the area racetracks will offer.  I don’t want to put the fan in a position where they have to make a tough choice.  We reviewed other tracks 2005 schedule and saw a possible conflict.  I felt it was in the best interest for everyone in racing from the fans, drivers and other tracks that we change our date.”

Kenseth also stated that the advance ticket prices for this event will be $17 for adults (16 & up), $8 children (ages 6-15) and 5 and under are free.  A VIP package will also be available for $100.  The on-sale date will be announced in a future press release.

Roy Kenseth has also stated that he is working on having other NASCAR stars at this event.  “This is going to be a fun event and I feel that changing the date to June 21st was the right thing to do.”
