141 SPEEDWAY SETS 2009 AWARDS BANQUET FOR FEB. 13

(Francis Creek, WI) Jan. 14 – 141 Speedway track management has announced the 2009 awards banquet will be held Saturday, February 13 at Knox’s Silver Valley Supper Club in Manitowoc. Track champions in the six weekly divisions will be crowned, and drivers who finished in the top 10 in points will be honored as well.  Competitors who are track members and took part in at least 65 percent of the scheduled events are eligible for post season awards.

Fans can purchase banquet tickets for $25.00 at the Lakeshore Motorsports Show & Sale January 16 at the Manitowoc  County Expo.  Just check out the 141 Speedway booth.  Tickets can also be purchased at Cooler Graphics and Designs, 3317 Dewey Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220.  Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drinks will be served starting at 5 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.   The awards presentation will follow. 

For more information call 920 905 5111.  141 Speedway will kick off it’s historic 51st season of racing on it’s brand new, third-mile, clay oval Wednesday night, May 5 at 7 p.m.  IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods and sport fours will compete weekly.  IMCA hobby stocks, grand national sportsman and street stocks are also scheduled on a rotating basis throughout the year.  Knox’s Silver Valley Supper Club is located at  1222 S.
