141 SPEEDWAY SETS DRIVERS MEETING FOR 2011 SEASON

(Francis Creek, WI) January 19 -    141 Speedway track officials have announced that an informational drivers meeting will be held Friday, February 11 at the track’s sports bar, Victory Lane Pub beginning at 7 p.m.

Pit stalls will be sold and track memberships will also be available for purchase.  A discussion on using Racecievers will take place, as well as an overview of track rules, division rules and track procedures will also be covered.  Season schedules will be released and drivers payoff in all of the tracks weekly classes will be up for discussion.

The track will be hosting a booth at the Central Wisconsin Racing Expo at Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh on Saturday, February 12.  Track personnel will be on hand to distribute schedules and answer questions about the upcoming season.  141 Speedway will also be on hand at “The Business Expo” Wednesday March 2 at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.  Green Bay’s Eric Mahlik will have his sportmod on display.

Modifieds will be the headlining, weekly division in 2011.  Grand national sportsman will also compete weekly, along with stock cars, street stocks, sportmods and sport fours.  In addition, Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw sprints will make three appearances in 2011 and the WDLMA late models will make two appearances this year.

The track’s season kicks off Saturday, April 2 for the Polar Bear Plunge.  An open practice session is scheduled for Friday night, April 1 (no foolin’).
