MORE CASH ON THE LINE FOR 141 SPEEDWAY RACERS JULY 3
(Bonus money available for Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals)

(Francis Creek, WI) June 27 - With eight different winners in as many weeks of racing in the Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, the pot has been sweetened yet again.

Track promoter Bruce Conard has decided to pay $600 to the winner of that division's feature on Sunday night, July 3 if the driver is a first time feature winner this season.   On Saturday, June 25, The "Whitelaw Weapon" Kevin Naidl captured his first career feature on dirt, leading wire-to-wire en route to victory at the high-banked, third mile, clay oval.

Being a first time winner on the year, Naidl pocketed $175 in bonus bucks, pushing his feature winnings to $500.  "With no other Grand Nationals running in the region next Sunday we're hoping for a pretty solid field of Grand Nationals for that show," said track promoter Bruce Conard.  "We're throwing another $100 on top so a first time feature winner on the year will pocket $600."

Besides Naidl, the other drivers who have won features this year include brothers Alex and Ben Stumpf from Brillion, Chilton's Steve Schneider, defending track champion TJ Smith of Menasha, Manitowoc's Logan Rhode and Plymouth drivers Ryan Minster and Brian Gilles.

The Brian Peterson Builders Grand Nationals will join the headlining Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint cars, who will be making their second appearance of the season.  Hot laps for the sprinters begin at 6 p.m., with qualifying and racing to follow.  They'll be joined by the sport fours and the 600 cc micro sprints, who will be putting on an exhibition race.
