THIRD ANNUAL “CLASH @ THE CREEK” TO HOST “PRELUDE TO THE BMT TOUR” EVENT AT 141 SPEEDWAY JUNE 29

(Winner of $1,000 Mod show to earn traveling star status in Badger Mod Tour in 2012)

(Francis Creek, WI) March 30 – The third annual “Clash @ the Creek” presented by Muenster’s Shell and Ken’s Sports at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek on Wednesday, June 29 will have couple of unique twists.

The winner of the $1,000-to-win Modified show will earn “Traveling Star Status” for the Badger Mod Tour in 2012.  The Badger Mod Tour is a touring series that will host open wheeled Modified races at tracks across Wisconsin.  A traveling star program will be setup for drivers who will sign contracts with a guarantee that they appear at each show in 2012.  Bonus monies will be paid to those drivers under contract in 2012.

“Our goal is really to make this event a true “who’s who” of the best modified drivers in Wisconsin,” said 141 Speedway track promoter Bruce Conard.  “We’re hoping all Wisconsin’s top modified drivers can mark this mid-week special on their calendars to be there.”

Among the unique features of this special is that the modifieds will be allowed an eight inch rear spoiler, Giving the cars a different look.   A draw/redraw format will be utilized for this special event.    A 30 lap Modified feature will cap off the evening’s action.  Support classes for this event will be named at a later date.
