141 SPEEDWAY MODIFIED, STOCK CAR TEAMS ELIGIBLE FOR MOTOR GIVEAWAY

(Francis Creek, WI) Aug 3 – Nearly two dozen Modified and Stock car drivers are in the running at 141 Speedway to take home a race ready engine supplied by track promoter Bruce Conard.

Conard, with some assistance from Jake Skarvan at Manitowoc Motor and Machining, is awarding a complete, race ready, top-to-bottom engine to a driver in the Modified and Stock car divisions, respectively, who have competed in three-quarters of the races at 141 Speedway this year. The Modified engine is worth $7,500 and the Stock car powerplant is worth $4,500.

“Basically it’s just a thank you to the guys who have supported our Saturday night program so far this year,” said Conard. “It’s a reward to the driver’s loyalty. They are both 383 c.i. motors. They both contain brand new parts from oil pan to valve cover.”

As of August 3, the drivers in the Modified class eligible to win the motor are: Sean Jerovetz, Eddie Muenster, Johnny Whitman, RM Van Pay, Kyle Kudick, Kyle Lentz, Jared Siefert, Jamie Schmidt, Eric Van Iten, Randy Markwardt Jr., Tim Czarneski and Ronnie Plog Jr. Michelle Loy, if she runs the next three nights, would still be eligible.

In the Stock car class drivers still in the running for the motor drawing include; Junior Karcz, Rick Mahlberg, Roger Johnson, Tyler De Bouche, Mike Gilson, Todd Augustain, Steve Thornton, John Mahlberg, Chris Lowenhagen, and Tyler Derenne Jerry Leary, if he runs the next three nights, would be eligible as well. The drawing for the powerplant will be held on August 20th or 27th.

“This is just the beginning,” said Conard. “We plan on expanding this motor giveaway program in 2012 to include Sportmods and possibly other divisions.” Manitowoc Motor and Machining also offers a $100 product gift certificate weekly through All Star Performance and ARP, with rotating classes. In addition, Behling Circle Track Equipment of Butler also gives away a set of Wildwood brake pads weekly to drivers in the Modified and Sportmod divisions.
