ASA Midwest Tour Rules Now Available

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (November 10, 2006) - The ASA Midwest Tour is quickly taking shape as the rules for the all new Late Model series have been released. Upper Midwest Late Model drivers will notice that the ASA Midwest Tour rules incorporate many of the same specifications that already exist at the majority of tracks throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin, where the ASA Midwest Tour plans to conduct races in 2007.

"We have taken into account all the rules that local tracks are using and have put together a rules package that allows local drivers to compete with the ASA Midwest Tour cars, making minimal to no changes to the current Super Late Models that are racing in the Midwest," said Tim Olson, Director of Operations for the ASA Midwest Tour. "Our goal is to make everyone able to run ASA Midwest Tour races."

A complete list of rules and specifications for cars competing in the ASA Midwest Tour can be found at the official web site of the ASA Midwest Tour, www.asamidwesttour.com.
