ROY Eligibility Forms Available
ASA Midwest Tour VP Steve Einhaus announced today that the Rookie of the Year eligibility forms are now available for the 2007 racing season. “I believe that we will have one of the most lucrative and exciting ROY programs in Super Late Model racing,” Einhaus stated.

Tour President Tim Olson added, “Steve and I are working very hard to incorporate our sponsoring partners and many have indicated that they would like to make contributions to the ROY program. The most thrilling part of the line up is allowing the highest finishing ROY contender of each event to take part in the Touring Stars bonus program.”
The Touring Stars program was developed so to bring back the excitement that has been deficient in short track racing. During the inaugural year of the ASA Midwest Tour a roster of 11 pre-selected highly sought after competitors, along with the highest finishing ROY candidate of each event will compete for bonus incentives. The 2008 Touring Stars roster will be filled by top 15 in 2007 championship standings.
Drivers are encouraged to request information for an ASA Midwest Tour membership online at www.asamidwesttour.com. The deadline for drivers applying for the Touring Stars program is January 1, 2007. Rookie applicants must register before the season opening event.
