American Speed Association Signs Dyer’s Top Rods for Midwest Tour
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (January 21, 2007) – Dyer’s Top Rods of Forrest, Illinois has announced its partnership with the American Speed Association Midwest Tour. Dyer’s manufactures connecting rods for many of America’s greatest high performance engines with the Oval Track industry being one of its leaders. Dyer’s is also the official connecting rod for the Infinity Pro Series, a feeder series to the Indy Racing League.
Specializing in 100% American made 300M forged Timken steel; Dyer’s prides itself on quality, precision, accuracy, and reliability. As a family owned and operated business, Dyer’s also feels that doing business on a personal level has etched their success in stone. “When customers have the opportunity to walk in our doors or call us on the phone and have the ability to talk to us personally, it goes along way,” Owner Roger Friedman expressed, “We enjoy the personal level of our business and without the support of the engine builders and racers, our business would go away. It’s the competitiveness of the sport, being able to sit in the stands as a fan, seeing raw horsepower and watching different engines out run each other. Without that feeling the fan doesn’t get to be a part of it and to keep racing alive, we need those fans.”
“This is just another fine example of how important it is to have support from a company like Dyer’s Top Rods,” stated ASA Midwest Tour President Tim Olson, “They are stepping up to help the engine builders and to reward our competitors for their continued support of the sport.”
