American Speed Association Informational Meeting This Saturday

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 14, 2007) – The American Speed Association Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment is holding its 2007 preseason informational meeting Saturday March 17 at the Chula Vista Resort Golf Course Club House and Water Park in Wisconsin Dells.

Drivers are required to bring their driving suit and shoes along for promotional photos. “We are doing a photo shoot and producing 10,000 posters to be spread out across five states. These posters are not only important for promoting the Tour but for helping fans and prospective sponsors sight drivers off the track by seeing the photos and gaining that recognition,” explained ASAMT VP Steve Einhaus.

Advance registration for the meeting has shown an incredible level of interest, a level that even the Resort felt phenomenal. “I was very pleased to see how fast we sold out when the ASA Midwest Tour made their announcement of their meeting. It's great to see that they chose Chula Vista and we are looking forward to a great future relationship with everyone,” expressed Heather McReynolds, Group Sales, Chula Vista Resort. Einhaus added, “I was getting calls for an alternate hotel three days after our announcement so we are anticipating a great turnout. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.”

"We have been in the planning stages for many months now and we are trying to prepare every bit of information possible so we can allow our teams to be ready to go for our first event," stated Steve Einhaus.

Race teams, crewmembers, media, and other interested parties will be receiving vital information to help plan for the 2007 racing season. ASAMT sponsors will be on hand to talk about their relationship with the Tour and to discuss the show car appearance program. Steve Einhaus will also announce updated information on the Educational Series and provide assistance or direction in connecting teams with local high schools.

Advantage Marketing will be on hand to help teams that need a website designed or autograph cards created. There will be numerous items discussed that will be very helpful to all of those in attendance. The official hotel of the ASA Midwest Tour will be announced and member information provided.

Contingency sticker packages will be distributed as well as series sponsor packages.
