Draco Springs into Midwest Tour
Motor Sports spring manufacturer Draco Springs of Houston Texas has announced its intentions to fully support the American Speed Association's Midwest Tour. Draco Spring Manufacturing began in 1969 with one man's concept and has developed into a multi-million dollar corporation.
Draco Springs has supplied products to various types of industry across the world ranging from Automotive and Heavy Equipment to Aircraft and Railroad needs. Its "Purple Spring" has propelled Draco into the motor sports industry and has set itself high atop its competitors with their success ranging from the local short track all the way to the levels of NASCAR.
Draco President B.J. Drager commented, "We are happy to be a part of the Midwest Tour and to support its racers". "The upper Midwest has been the leader in Asphalt Short Track racing for years and we feel that this series will help our business grow tremendously", He added. “Their Scheduling was very well planned by visiting each race facility only once during the season and it helps us market our product to the travelers and the local racers in a wide regional area", Stated Drager. "We have some guys winning with our product up there and we are very happy with our plans for growth in the Midwest Tour", He stated.
Draco's unique "Purple Spring" and precision design has caught the eye of many competitors with Midwestern support coming from asphalt late model set up guru Fred Roempler. Roempler has propelled a long list of short track racers (including a recent Grundy County Speedway Championship with Pat Kelly and the All American 400 win with Boris Jurkovic) into winner's circle and he feels lately it can be credited to the addition of Draco Springs in his setups.
"I am very pleased with Draco's decision to support the Midwest Tour", stated series VP Steve Einhaus. "There are many things on these cars that catch my eye and I have been seeing a lot of "Purple" these days in the winners circle, Einhaus laughed. "I am glad to have Fred aboard because when he is around I know he is giving someone a shot at the win", He added.
