BURLINGTON, WI (Wednesday, March 5, 2008) – Two of the biggest supporters of the ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment have teamed up for the 2008 season. Competition Race Technology and Lefthander Chassis announce that Avcomm Communications has been added to Lefthander’s parts lineup for 2008.

Jim Naumann, of Competition Race Technology & Wayne Lensing, owner of Lefthander Chassis, came to an agreement during the Lefthander tradeshow to carry communications equipment in the 2008 catalog and to be available at all Lefthander dealers.

"This is one of the greatest opportunities for local and regional racers to get quality communications equipment from a local dealer they know and trust,” Jim Naumann stated. “Being associated with Lefthander chassis will give the racers the piece of mind they are getting quality equipment as with all equipment handled by Lefthander."

Both Competition Race Technology and Lefthander Chassis are contingency sponsors for the ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment. “Jim and Wayne continue to be a valuable asset to the ASAMT,” Steve Einhaus, ASAMT VP stated. “Jim and his wife, Dottie, has been a valuable asset at our events by providing radios for the series officials and assisting the race teams with their radio needs and repairs. They are two people that are behind the scenes helping make our Tour a success.”

Lefthander Chassis was founded in 1981 by Wayne Lensing who still operates the company today in Roscoe, Illinois just south of the Wisconsin state line. Lensing had been racing late models at Rockford Speedway, Lake Geneva Raceway and in several American Speed Association (ASA) events for the previous six years. During this time he won three championships at Rockford, two at Lake Geneva and several ASA events across the Midwest. With over 100 feature wins to his credit he became the go-to man to build, repair and setup competitors’ racecars. He began fabricating racecar chassis out of his home garage. It was during this time that cars were built for drivers Joe Shear, Rich Bickle, Steve Carlson and many other top drivers. Lefthander has since moved to bigger and better facilities to be one of the largest late model fabrication and parts warehouses.
