Sonic Racing Clutches joins the ASA Midwest Tour as a contingency sponsor

Tilton Engineering has entered into a marketing partnership with the ASA Midwest Tour for the 2008 ASAMT season with a contingency program through Tilton’s Sonic Racing Clutches product line. The product line is “Tilton for Short Track Racing” and features a full range of high quality clutches, bellhousings, flywheels, starters, and hydraulic release bearings. These components draw heavily upon the Tilton product lineage and are designed specifically for the rules and regulations of short track racing, while maximizing performance and reliability.

“The ASA Midwest Tour is a perfect venue for Tilton to promote and showcase our Sonic Racing Clutches brand, said Kirk Skaufel, Marketing Director for Tilton Engineering. “We have had great market penetration into the Midwest short track markets as racers have been discovering the benefits of our products," He continued, "After winning the inaugural 2007 ASA Midwest Tour Championship with Nathan Haseleu, we felt it was natural to come on board as a contingency sponsor to continue to promote our upward momentum”.

At each 2008 ASA Midwest Tour event, Sonic Racing Clutches will award a $125 product certificate for 1st place and a $75 product certificate for 8th place. In addition, Sonic Racing Clutches will award a $250 product certificate to the 2008 Series Champion and a $250 product certificate to the 2008 Rookie of the Year.

“This program will help us develop a stronger Sonic brand awareness in one of the most competitive regions for Super Late Model racing, while creating pull through sales for our distributors and dealers who support the racers” Skaufel added.
