Safety-Kleen is well known for their involvement in auto racing as they provide services to all NASCAR teams and 65 major race tracks in the United States, Mexico and Canada by supplying shop towels, waist recovery, oil filter deposits, and a parts washer in the tech area at each ASAMT event.

With over 250,000 parts cleaners at customer locations in North America, they are proud to state that all parts washer solvent is recycled. They also have one million parts cleaner services provided annually to businesses from GE, Ford, GM, Dodge, and Toyota manufacturing plants, car dealerships and small machine shops.

Safety-Kleen also pride themselves by collecting more than 200 million gallons of used oil annually in North America and refine all of the used oil at their refineries in East Chicago, IN and Breslau, Canada. They also re-refine over 140 million gallons of used oil annually. 170,000 gallons of NASCAR oil is re-refined each year and put back into useable oil and sold to the US Parks Service and the US Postal Service, the city of New York, city of Chicago and the state of Indiana.

They also collect and reclaim more than 330 million gallons of waste annually and perform in strict compliance with regulations and environmentally sound practices.

"I have to take my hat off to Donny Reuvers (ASAMT competitor, finished second in the 2007 points) for helping us solidify this partnership. It just goes to show you the kind of racers we have in our series as they are always looking for ways to help us improve,” stated Steve Einhaus, ASAMT VP. “Safety-Kleen is obviously very involved in Motor Sports and their partnership is a great tool for our race teams and the tracks that we attend. We look forward to a long term partnership with them as we keep our events ‘green’.”
