SCHAEFFER OIL PRODUCTS HELPS ASAMT TEAMS ON AND OFF THE TRACK
By: Kevin Ramsell

BURLINGTON, WI (Thursday, April 10, 2008) – Chris Hauser is a familiar face around the pits at any ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment. He is not only a fan of the sport, but he is a proud representative of Schaeffer Oil Products.

As one of the many contingency sponsors, Hauser prides himself on servicing teams with products that they can not only use in their race cars, but in their diesel haulers that brings those cars to ASAMT events.

“The ASA Midwest Tour is by far the most well rounded and successful racing series in the country and had a great first year,” Hauser recently stated. “This series gives me a great opportunity to showcase the historical success of Schaeffer Oil Products by giving the racer supreme engine protection and performance at a much lower cost. Our products are proven, and my objective is to work directly with the racers and educate them on making the right decisions to protect their investments.”

One of the ways that Hauser hopes to help the teams is by providing Schaeffer’s Diesel Treat 2000 for their diesel trucks. Diesel Treat 2000 is a multi-functional, ashless, all season fuel additive that is specially formulated for use with all types of diesel fuel. It contains a highly concentrated multi-functional additive package including SynShield, a proprietary lubricant that surpasses industry standards for fuel lubricity and emissions.

“Schaeffer’s Diesel Treat 2000 is another example of finding ways for the teams to save money,” Hauser stated. “It’s providing our customers with savings of up to 5% across the board, and that adds up over a whole racing season. I encourage the teams to give me a call so I can help them out with hands on service. I am here to help them; I am on their team, not their payroll.”

"It's nice to see Chris as a ‘hands on’ type of business man,” Steve Einhaus, ASAMT VP stated. “He's at every event, walking around and asking questions, offering help, or explaining his product. That's his key to success and it's great to have him supporting our competitors.”

Founded in 1839, Schaeffer Manufacturing Company has grown to be the largest manufacturer of fuel additives in North America. With over 60 million in sales, the company attributes its success to product quality and exceptional service. Schaeffer is a family-owned business with over 400 sales reps nationwide and ten large warehouse facilities located throughout the United States to insure all customers’ needs are met in a timely fashion.

Over 30 paid entries have already been received for the season opening event on Saturday, April 19th at Elko Speedway. Defending race winner and 2007 Rookie of the Year, Jonathan Eilen, along with 2007 ASAMT Champion, Nathan Haseleu, and the rest of the ASAMT Touring Stars are preparing to challenge the 3/8 mile oval. It will be, “Certified Super Late Model Excitement!!!”
