ASA Midwest Tour PR (Kari Carlson)

Burlington, WI (Monday, January 4, 2010) The Midwest Motorsports Racers' Expo to be held January 8th and 9th in Madison, WI is a place where racers meet and talk about the past year, the good stories and the bad, but most of all, get geared up for the next racing season. This year the ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment and Grandstay Residential Suites Hotels will have a booth featuring a brand new ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour car.

ASAMT Vice President, Steve Einhaus, will be on hand to talk with those interested in both the ASA Midwest Tour and the ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour. He invites everyone to stop by and hear about all the new and exciting things coming up for the 2010 racing season. "Madison will be a great place to bring everyone together to talk shop about the upcoming season and we look forward to seeing everyone this weekend as we kick off a new year and a new season," stated Steve Einhaus.

Steve Einhaus will also be hosting meetings for both the ASA Midwest Tour and the ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour. The Midwest Sportsman Tour meeting will start at 10AM on Saturday. Steve will be discussing updated rules, race procedures, point fund, event pay, membership requirements, releasing of the schedule, and an exciting announcement regarding the first race and championship location. In addition, Midwest Sportsman Tour tech director, Donnie Heelien, will be introduced.

The ASAMT Super Late Model meeting will start at 2PM on Saturday. This meeting will cover much of the usual topics but will also include some discussion on proposed race procedures, special events, the schedule, and a special announcement for 2010. Anyone interested in either the ASA Midwest Tour or the ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour are encouraged to stop by and learn more about the exciting things planned for the 2010 racing season.
