15 Year Old Landon Cassill to run for the ASL Rookie of the Year with Lorz Motorsports in 2005

March 16th, 2005 Midlothian, IL. -- 15 year old Landon Cassill from Fairfax, Iowa has announced that he will run the entire schedule in the newly formed ASL Series out of Wisconsin with the Lorz Motorsports team. He will also be running for the 2005 Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year.

Mike Lorz and Crew Chief Dan Lorz are happy to have a driver for an entire race season. " I think that this will be a great opportunity for Landon being that he is a young and talented driver to showcase his ability and drive for the Lorz Motorsports," says Dan Lorz.

Landon will be running over 60 races this year with a couple of different race series. He will be competing in the ASA Late Model Series and also in the CRA Super Series. Landon is excited for the upcoming race season to get started. "Last year we were very solid in the ASA Late Models, if not for some mechanical issues, we were a contender all year long," says Landon. " The deal with Lorz Motorsports came together in the last couple of weeks, this is the direction that my driving career needs to go. The Lorz family seem like great people to work with and I know they are anxious to have only one driver to work with for an entire race season. We also have some great new sponsors coming on board this year that we will be announcing soon."
