Howe Racing Enterprises lends support to ASL race teams
BEAVERTON, MI -- Howe Racing Enterprises of Beaverton, MI will award a chassis mid-section to the 2005 champion of the American Stock Car League (ASL). The fastest qualifier at each ASL race beginning at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO Saturday, April 30 will also receive a $100 Howe Products certificate. "We're behind this new series and want to see it succeed," said Chas Howe, owner of Howe Racing Enterprises. The chassis mid-section will be awarded at the series banquet Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Leathem Smith Lodge in Sturgeon Bay, WI. The ASL schedule is posted on the series website at asl-midamracing.com.
Mid-American Stock Car, Inc. of Baileys Harbor, WI is the sanctioning body for the ASL along with the Midwest AllStar Late Models, Mid-Am Super Trucks, Stock Car Classics League and Mid-American Stock Car Series. The group plans 71 races in 2005 on paved tracks ranging from one-quarter mile to one mile in length.
