Beebe will drive a 2005 Ford Taurus sponsored by Lennox, Collis Equipment, Redline Oil, and Beebe Heating and Air Conditioning. The Olathe, KS driver finished fourth in the ARTGO Series in 1992 and was awarded rookie of the year honors. He competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in the late 1990s and then ran a limited schedule in the NASCAR Busch Series in 1999. His highest finishes in the former American Speed Association National Tour came in 1997 and 1998 when he was fifth in the final point standings both seasons. The American StockCar League (ASL) was formed at a Feb. 5 meeting in Janesville, WI when the Mid-American Stock Car Series officials met with American Speed Association car owners to form a new series. In a little over two months a ten-race schedule has been assembled along with a complete technical staff, contingency awards totaling $445,000 and a marketing team is seeking sponsor support. "Obviously I'm happy the ASL will be opening on what I consider my home track," Beebe said. "I expect the competition to be as tough as when I raced in the ARTGO Series. That was a really good series and I learned a lot racing with them," Beebe noted.
