Appleton Rack & Pinions to be involved as ASL award sponsor

BAILEYS HARBOR, WI -- Appleton Rack and Pinions has posted $2,000 in contingency awards for the top three point finishers in the 2005 American StockCar League (ASL) standings. The certificates of $1,000 to first place and $500 each to second and third place for Appleton products will be awarded at the series banquet Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Leathem Smith Lodge in Sturgeon Bay, WI. "We're happy to see Mid-American Racing pick up the former ASA cars for this new series," noted company owner Fred Appleton. The ASL season opener is Saturday night, April 30 at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO.
