Penske Racing Shocks announces award program for American StockCar League

BROOKLYN, MI -- Penske Racing Shocks has announced a contingency program for the 2005 season for the American StockCar League (ASL).  "We are pleased to be associated with the American StockCar League this season and believe this series will become a major player in short track racing for many years to come," stated Allen Croll, sales director for Penske Racing Shocks Midwest, based in Brooklyn, MI. "We know many of the ASL racers from our association with the former American Speed Association.  We have worked with many teams to provide them with quality racing shocks that will outperform the competition at each track we visit this season.  Our contingency sponsorship for 2005 is the beginning of a long-lasting relationship between this series and Penske Racing Shocks," he added. "We believe it will continue to grow just as the series will in the future," Croll said.

For 2005, each ASL feature event winner will receive a $100 Penske Racing Shocks certificate, if the car uses four Penske Racing Shocks in that event and displays  PRS decals on the car as required by ASL. At the series racing banquet Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Leathem Smith Lodge in Door County, WI the highest finishing Penske Racing Shocks car in the final point standings will receive a $250 PRS product certificate provided the car has carried the decals during all ASL sanctioned events throughout the season.

The next ASL race is Wednesday, June 8 at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, IA.  For a complete schedule consult the series website at www.asl-midamracing.com.
