Stephen Leicht enters Keith Fleck Miller race at Hawkeye Downs June 8
 
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- Stephen Leicht, the current point leader of the ASA Late Model Series, has entered the American StockCar League (ASL) division for the 33rd annual Keith Fleck Miller 200 race at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, IA Wednesday night, June 8.

Leicht, of Ashville, NC, has been racing late model cars since the age of 13.  His five years of experience has made him a top contender where ever he races.  He won the ASALM season opener May 7 at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, IN driving for WalTom Racing. The car he will drive at Hawkeye Downs will be a 2005 Monte Carlo sponsored by Texor Petroleum and will carry #4.
   
The ASL race will be 150 laps with a halfway pit stop for all teams.   Miller Time Modifieds and Hawkeye Downs Late Models (ASA rules cars) will also run feature races and heat races on the half-mile paved oval.  An ASL last chance race is also planned.
   
Grandstands open at 4 p.m. along with the start of ASL practice.   Local divisions practice at 5:30 p.m. followed by ASL qualifying at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
