Reffner leads ASL points going into Saturday MIS 150-lap race
   
OREGON, WI -- Bryan Reffner of Stevens Point, WI leads the American StockCar League (ASL) point standings going into the next series race Saturday night, June 18  at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI. Qualifying on the half-mile paved oval begins at 5 p.m. followed by an autograph session at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. Reffner holds a 258-232 point lead over Jarit Johnson of El Cajon, CA.  Johnson, brother of NASCAR Nextel Cup Series point leader Jimmy Johnson, is also the leader in the race for Pat Schauer Memorial rookie of the year honors.
   
Ryan Mathews of Lake Geneva, WI is ranked third with 228 points while Trevor Stewart of St. Augusta, MN is fourth with 223 and Andrew Morrissey of DeForest, WI is fifth with 218.
Rounding out the top ten are Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, GA with 189, Paul Paine of Mound, MN with 188, Landon Cassill of Fairfax, IA with 167, Trey Allen of McGreger, TX with 164 and Stephan Leicht of Ashville, NC with 135.
  
  A number of drivers are expected to make their first 2005 series start at MIS Saturday including Hal Collins of Fort Worth, TX, Matthias Czabok of Ashland, OH, Rich Loch of Muskego, WI, Ronnie Hawley of Winona, MN and Kenny West of Cleveland, NC.
The doubleheader program will also include the Mid-Am Super Truck Series with a 30-lap feature. The speedway is located just off of Highway 138 between Stoughton and Oregon, WI on Sunrise Road.
