Texan Hal Collins will run remaining American StockCar League events
FORT WORTH, TX -- Hal Collins of Fort Worth, TX has announced that he will be competing in the remaining American StockCar League race events for the 2005 season, including the next race Sunday night, July 3 at I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN at 6 p.m.
Collins, a three-time national go kart champion, has 50 feature wins in Legends cars along with 200 top ten finishes. He was ranked among the top ten Legends drivers nationally three years in-a-row. He is a rookie in late model cars, but was the second fastest qualifier at a Texas Super Race Series event at Kyle, TX. He will be driving a Monte Carlo for Rick Sharp Racing. "I am very grateful for this ride. I believe the ASL Series has unlimited potential and want to be part of it," Collins said.
Other drivers expected to make their ASL debut in upcoming events are Jayme Beck of Greensburg, PA; Jeff Way of Burlington, WI; Chad Wood of Madison, WI; Matthias Czabok of Ashland, OH; Rich Loch of Muskego, WI; Kenny West of Cleveland, NC; Boris Jurkovic of Crestwood, IL; Cale Wiltse of Augres. MI; Brent Kirschner of LeCrescent, MN; Jeff Streeter of Chowchilla, CA; Joe Pelldegrino of Glen Olden, PA; Tim Schmitt of Muskego, WI and Nate Theise of Lakeville, MN.
