Bob Schultz and Kyle Bauknecht invited to Royal Rumble race at WIR August 2nd
REEDSVILLE, WI -- Kyle Bauknecht and Bob Schultz, both of Reedsville, have been invited and will compete in the Royal Rumble Mid-American Stock Car vs. Mid-Am Super Truck race Tuesday night, Aug. 2 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna. The Royal Rumble will be run in conjunction with the American StockCar League 150 and B & B Race Engines Late Model Shootout on the Kaukauna half-mile paved track with racing to begin at 7:15 p.m.
Schultz will drive a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Mid-American Stock Car in the Aug. 2 invitational race. He has won several major events at the 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, including the Firecracker 50. Bauknecht, a high school student, races in the super truck touring series and in a limited late model on Thursday nights at WIR. He will drive a 2004 Chevrolet Super Truck.
