The Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series joined the World of Outlaw Sprints at Charter Raceway Park for an action packed night of racing on Sunday night. Twenty-six Legends cars were on hand for the special event.

Daryn Pittman captured the 40-lap World of Outlaws Sprints A-Main. Current point leader Donny Schatz finished in second followed by Jason Meyers, Craig Dollansky and Paul McMahan. For complete results and details on the World of Outlaws Sprints portion of the program, go to www.worldofoutlaws.com.

Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie captured his second win in two nights as he drove to victory in the 20-lap Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series A-Main. In almost a repeat from Saturday night’s final points night A-Main, Weber found himself out front early in the event and then having to fend off the challenges of Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City for a good portion of the race. Weber found the higher groove to be to his liking throughout most of the event while Wyttenback would enter the turn high and then come down off the banking to the inside in the following turn. Wyttenbach was able to slip slightly ahead on a couple of occasions, but each time Weber was able to quickly forge back to the point. It was the seventh win of the season for Weber at Charter Raceway Park and his eighth overall for the season. Phil Van Tatenhove of Gibbsville drove a solid race in crossing the line in third. Greg Hartlaub of Sheboygan Falls also had a good run in taking fourth. Loren Zuhlke Jr. of Beaver Dam had his best race of the season with a fifth place finish. Darwin Banes of Beaver Dam followed in sixth ahead of Brian Peterson of Mukwonago and Kevin Brill of Oostburg. Bethany Wyttenbach of Plain was ninth. Brandon Schmitt of Beaver Dam completed his rookie season at the raceway with a tenth place finish.

Kevin Brill won the 12-lap B-Main over Aaron Muhle of Rolling Prairie. It was only the second night in a legend car for Muhle. Brandon Schmitt followed in third. Tim Narr of Franklin was fourth. Cody Townsend of Sugar Grove, IL drove to fifth.

Heat race wins were recorded by Eric Barth, Brad Weber and Joel Wyttenbach.
