Although the weather tried to dampen the spirits, ideal track conditions led to three, four and even five wide racing on Coca-Cola Night at the Races at Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam, WI on Saturday night.

Russ Reinwald of Iron Ridge became the third different winner in three events as he drove to the win in the 20-lap Johnsonville Brats Modifieds A-Main. Reinwald wasted little time moving to the front as he vaulted from his fourth row starting position to take second on lap 4. He then inherited the lead under a caution on lap five when Ralph Schneider of Hartland gave up the top spot when he retired to the pits with problems on his car.  Tim Lemirande of Verona came from the sixth row to challenge Reinwald and briefly took the lead for two laps on lap fourteen and fifteen. Reinwald fought back forging ahead on lap sixteen. From there he stayed out front to the checkered flag. Lemirande settled for second. Jeremy Christians of Horicon ran strong and crossed the line in third. Dave Schoenberger of Beaver Dam, who earned a spot in the A-Main by winning one of the B-Mains, charged from the fourteenth starting position to take fourth. John Stanton of Reeseville was fifth.

Roger Lee of Wind Lake picked up his second win in as many tries as he drove to the win in the Grand Nationals Division A-Main. Steve Seitz of Beaver Dam ran well and finished in second. Don Sorce Jr. of West Allis battled his way back from an incident on the initial start of the event to finish in third. Shane Heaney of Milwaukee followed in fourth. Dan Schumacher of Milwaukee drove to fifth.

Jerry Winkler of Oshkosh made it two in a row as he battled to the win in the 20-lap Dodge Central Credit Union Stocks A-Main. Winkler started in the fifth row and quickly moved to the front to take the lead on lap three. Roger Frank of Beaver Dam pressured Winkler for several laps, but eventually Winkler pulled away and drove to the win. Jon Schultz of Waunakee edged out Frank for second. Craig Lepple of Beaver Dam picked his way through traffic to take fourth ahead of Matt Bedker of Beaver Dam.

Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City slipped past Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie on lap nine and then held off the challenges of Weber and Eric Barth of Sauk City to claim his second win of the season in the 20-lap Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series A-Main. Barth came out the winner in the duel for second beating Weber to the line. Joey Johnson of Slinger had another strong run as he finished in fourth. Phil Van Tatenhove of Gibbsville followed in fifth.

Shaun Diebert of Milwaukee led most of the way in picking up his first win of the season in the 20-lap Wally’s Auto Dirt Devils A-Main. Doug Draheim of Brookfield had Diebert in his sights and finished a close second. Aaron Stolp of West Allis moved up to finish in third ahead of Eddie Lemay III of Milwaukee and Matthew Janke of Mequon.

Modified B-Main wins were registered by Mitch McGrath of Neosho, Dave Schoenberger and Joey Jaeger of Slinger. Heat race wins were captured by Eddie Lemay Jr. of Milwaukee, Jeremy Christians, Russ Reinwald, Joe McGrath of Neosho, Tim Lemirande and Ben Godlewski of Sussex.

Grand National heat race wins went to Will Schumacher of Hartford, Andy Bolstad of Montello and John Sidesky of Muskego.  Barry Cates of Greenfield and Jon Schultz were victorious in the stocks heats. Legend heat race wins were recorded by Brad Weber and Joel Wyttenbach. Dirt Devil heat race wins were taken by Shaun Diebert and Aaron Stolp.
