The Dells Raceway Park has released their inaugural 2007 racing schedule

Across Wisconsin, racing fans will see plenty of changes in 2007, including a new ownership team at the Dells Raceway Park.

Under the direction of its new owners, the Dells Raceway Park's one-third mile track will return as one of Wisconsin's best racing venues - both for the fans and the teams racing at DRP.

The Dells Raceway Park will offer its fans up to five divisions of Saturday night racing in 2007. DRP regular divisions will include Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Bandits. In addition at least two traveling series are set to race the inaugural season at DRP.

The season kicks off for DRP drivers and teams with a pair of pre-tech and practice sessions set for each of the two Saturdays prior to the Dells Raceway Park Season Opener.

Super Late Models and Limited Late Models are slated for the Saturday, April 7 practice and pre-tech session, with Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and Bandits scheduled for the Saturday, April 14.

Racing begins its new era at the Dells Raceway Park, with all five DRP divisions scheduled for the Saturday, April 21 Season Opener.

Included in the Dells Raceway Park inaugural 2007 schedule, is the DRP debut of the ASA Midwest Tour, set for Tuesday, June 12, 2007. The Wisconsin Challenge Series will race at DRP twice in 2007, as the WCS first visits on Saturday, May 12 and then returns for the North American Cup on Saturday, June 30.

DRP Championships will wrap up the season, with the Dells Raceway Park's Limited Late Models crowning their Champion on Saturday, September 15. Champions for the DRP Super Lates, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Bandits will be crowned on the season finale, slated for Saturday, September 23.
