Back Home 100 reunites old friends


2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Champion Travis Kvapil to pilot the Horstman/Wehrs Racing Team's No. 6 at the DRP ASA event.

The Horstman/Wehrs Racing Team of Blake Hortsman and Chad Wehrs of Bangor have prepared the entry that 2003 Craftsmen Truck Champion Travis Kvapil will race in the Tuesday, June 12th ASA Midwest Tour - Back Home 100 at the Dells Raceway Park.

The No. 6 Horstman/Wehrs entry Kvapil will drive is built on an in house Wehrs Machine & Racing Products chassis design with a Tomcat Racing Engine.

The last time Kvapil drove for the Wehrs' Team was in 2000 at Cedar Rapids, IA. where he recorded a second-place finish. The reunion of sorts will involve friends, crewmembers, and sponsors from back in the day when Travis Kvapil raced around Wisconsin.

The No. 6 will have support from Praire Avenue Concrete of Beloit, one of Kvapil's main sponsors when he was racing back home in the Badger State.

Admission Prices: VIP - $50.00 (limited to the first 150 on a first-come, first-served basis and includes the NASCAR VIP autograph session); General Admission Adults - $24.00; Students & Seniors - $15.00; Kids under 10 - FREE with PAID Adult; Pit Pass Members - $30.00; Non-Member $35.00; Fan Pit Pass $40.00 (available starting at 3:00 pm).

Rain Date: If the fan gates were open and the event then suffers a weather cancellation, the race will be held on Wednesday, June 13th. If weather prevents the fan gates from opening, there will be no make-up date for the event.

The Dells Raceway Park is an American Speed Association (ASA) sanctioned track.
