BUMPER TO BUMPER IRA OUTLAW SPRINTS RELEASE 06 SCHEDULE
By Paul Pittman

McHenry, IL    The 2006 version of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints schedule consists of 34 dates at 18 different speedways in 4 different states. IRA is extremely proud to have Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts & Service Centers as series title sponsor for the 6th consecutive year. Long time IRA supporter, United Trailers will also be back again as associate series sponsor. IRA additionally welcomes O'Reilly/Bumper to Bumper as a new sponsor for the events contested in the St. Paul Minnesota marketplace.

The schedule for the winged/410 group is filled with many of the familiar stops that have become so popular with both IRA fans and teams. Traditional events like Cedar Lake Speedway's Masters & Jerry Richert Memorial, Dodge County's Rick Schmidt Memorial & Dick Witt Checkered Classic, Knoxville Raceway's IRA/Knoxville Challenge & Summer Classic, Wilmot Speedway's King of Wisconsin, Superior Speedway's Northern Nationals, and Sheboygan County Fair Park's Frank Filskov Memorial Fall Classic are all back just to name a few.

A trio of events slated for The Raceway @ Powercom Park that are sure to thrill all open wheel fans will be the three race Triple Crown Series featuring IRA competing in conjunction with the popular Badger Midgets.

IRA mixes it up with the Late Models too on ocassion. Cedar Lake's Masters was a huge hit with this inaugural combination last year as the NARA & WDRL stocks shared the billing. The Oshkosh Speedzone and Sheboygan Co. Fair Park venues will host IRA with the WDLMA on pair of seperate visits. IRA will cobine with the USMTS touring mod series for the Southern Minnesota Spring Challenge at the Deer CreeK Speedway creating an outstanding open-wheel double-bill.

IRA is extremely excited to have the extremely popular Summer Sizzler at the Langlade County Speedway grow into what will now be a two-day event. The standing room only crowds which have supported IRA's lone annual visit the past two years, will have an entire weekend to celebrate with the teams this year as the city of Antigo plans on combining several community events including a golf tournament
inconjunction with the race.

Everyone was thrilled when IRA was selected to headline Kenosha County Fair at Wilmot last year, so based on the tremendous response from last year, IRA will proudly headline the Friday night of this year's fair, and will also make their debut at the Hancock County Speedway by headlining Friday of the their fair too.

In addition to the above mentioned event at the Hancock Co. Speedway in Iowa, IRA will make other first time visits at Wisconsin's Rice Lake and  Eagle Valley Speedway's, plus Lincoln Speedway in Illinois.

Of course IRA will be stopping in at three long standing supporting venues for traditional appearances, as Iowa's Echo Valley and Cresco Speedway's, plus Wisconsin's Red Cedar Speedway all host single dates. The IRA returns to the ultrafast Jackson Speedway in Minnesota after a years absence.

IRA will provide car support to World of Outlaws Sprint Series events June 14th at Powercom Park, July 28-29 at Minnesota's Princeton National, and September 23rd at what should be the biggest event ever at the Wilmot Speedway. Both Princeton and Wilmot are televised events on The Outdoor Channel. The IRA ofcourse is a big supporter of sprint car racing's crown jewel, The Knoxville Nationals. While some use the week to prepare for the grueling IRA season stretch run, several IRA teams have become popular fixtures at The Nationals.

Two-time defending Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Champion Scotty Neitzel will be back aiming for a three-peat, over the likes of what traditionally is highest car count per event in all of winged/410 racing.

IRA also is proud to have long standing sponsors TW Metals, McCroskey Chevrolet/Pontiac,  and All American Caps N' Liners back again in 06, plus Stevie B's Landscaping.

The sseason begins Saturday April 22nd at the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway half-mile, and continues a week later just down the street at Beaver Dam Wisconsin's other track, The Raceway @ Powrcom Park for the first of three IRA Sprint /Badger Midget combination events April 29th.
