NIGHT ONE OF LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY'S BADGER STATE SHOWDOWN RAINED OUT

(Luxemburg, WI) June 7 - A heavy downpour this afternoon combined with high winds forced officials to cancel the first night of racing for the second annual Badger State Showdown presented by CZ's Bushville Lanes at Luxemburg Speedway Thursday.

The second night of racing tomorrow, June 8 is still on as planned. IMCA modifieds will battle for a $2,000 top prize while IMCA stock cars will race for $1,300 to win. IMCA northern sportmods and IMCA hobby stocks will race for $700 and $550 to win,respectively. The races will follow a draw/redraw format. Pits open at 4 p.m. with the first race at 7 p.m.
