WEST ALLIS, WI -- Officials at the Milwaukee Mile have announced that the Yellow Book USA Midwest AllStar late models will be added to the NASCAR Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series Weekend June 27-29. The top 50 cars in the Yellow Book USA MARS point standings will be invivted. The top 30 cars will earn automatic starting spots for the 30-car field Saturday, June 28 at 4 p.m. Drivers in point positions 31 to 50 will be placed in a last chance qualifying event to be run at about Noon Saturday. Several spots may be held for former MARS Series champions while the remaining cars in the feature race will advance through the last chance race.

The three qualifying races will be Sunday afternoon, May 18 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, Saturday night, June 14 at Wisconsin International Raceway, and Saturday night, June 21 at the Norway Speedway in Norway, MI. It is expected that drivers would have to compete in two of the first three races in order to qualify for the Milwaukee Mile NASCAR Weekend. Practice for the top 50 point drivers and time trials for last chance race drivers will be held Friday, June 27 at the Milwaukee Mile from 5:40 to 7 p.m.
