TOMAHAWK, WI -- Art Christoffersen edged out a rapidly closing Donnie Woller to take his first Yellow Book USA Super Truck Series feature win of the year Saturday night at Pepsi Raceway Park in Tomahawk in front of the largest crowd of the season at the quarter-mile paved oval. Christoffersen, driving the Raining Rose Ford, took the lead on lap 30 when he wedged under leader Bill Prietzel in turn one. A caution flag flew on lap 42 when Brad Blenker spun in turn three. Christoffersen lined up ahead of rookie Anthony Brewer and fast qualifier Woller for the restart. Brewer cut down a right front tire on lap 43, allowing Woller to move into second position. Woller, the series point lead in the Zastrow Trucking Ford, sliced away at Christoffersen's lead. He, however, ran out of laps and held to settlefor second place.

"I was sure glad to see the checkered flag," Christoffersen admitted. "I could see Woller coming. He is sure fast this year," Christoffersen added. There was a wild scramble for the third spot behind the two leaders as 11 trucks were bunched up, running two and three wide. Terry Marzofka, the 1997 and 1998 series champion, claimed the spot in the Coca Cola Dodge. Fourth went to rim riding Larry Fitzsimmons, who ran the entire event in the high groove. Rounding out the top six were
John Vig, Jr and Preitzel.

Next on the schedule for the traveling series is Fergus Falls Raceway in Fergus Falls, MN Friday night, June 6 and I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN Saturday night, June 7.
