42 of 50 spots filled for Yellow Book USA Midwest AllStar race at Milwaukee Mile

 

WEST ALLIS, WI -- Forty-two of 50 spots open for the Yellow Book USA Midwest AllStar Late Model race at the Milwaukee Mile have been filled following the latest qualifying race at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna. The top 30 drivers in the series points earn automatic starting spots in the 50-lap feature while two spots are reserved for former series champions. Those not making the top 30 will have a chance to advance to the feature through a last chance race to be held Friday, June 27 at The Mile at 6:30 p.m. The final 40-car field will race following NASCAR Busch Series qualifying amd the NASCAR Craftsman Truck race. A 20-lap. 20-car race is also planned for the Yellow Book USA Mid-American Stock Car Series. The final qualifying race for the Yellow Book USA MARS cars will be Saturday night, June 21 at the Norway Speedway in Norway, MI. "There are many drivers trying to advance to the top 30 so the Norway race should be outstanding," said series pesident Gary Vercauteren. Racing begins at 6:30 p.m. at Norway.
