LAKE GENEVA, WI -- The top 16 drivers in the 2004 Yellow Book
USA Stock Car Series point standings are all expected to compete in the Lynch
Chev-Pontiac-GMC 40 Saturday night, June 19 at the Lake Geneva Raceway. Practice
begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by time trials at 5:45 p.m. and racing on the one-third
mile paved oval at 7 p.m. Late Models and super stocks will be included on the
program.
Peter Hernandez of Mokena, IL holds down the number one spot
in the Yellow Book USA point standings with 523 points while Bill Prietzel of
Franklin is second with 516. Jonathan Eilen of Hampton, Mn is third in the points
with 490 and will make his first start ever at Lake Geneva Raceway.
Jeremy Miller of Rockton, IL is the man on the move in the series.
The former Rockford Speedway late model rookie of the year moved up from 11th
to eighth in the series points after taking his second series win last Saturday
night at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna. Miller's first series
win came last Fall at Lake Geneva.
