ODESSA, MO -- Dirt track racing star Chase Austin of Eudora,
KS will make his paved track racing debut Saturday night, June 26 at the I-70
Speedway in Odessa, Mo as part of the Yellow Book USA Midwest AllStar Late Model
100 on the high-banked half mile. Austin, who has already signed a NASCAR contract,
will face a stiff test from some of the Yellow Book USA Series drivers and regular
late model competitors at I-70 Speedway. Qualifing begins at 6:30 p.m. with
racing at 7:30 p.m.
Among the top entries is Yellow Book Series point leader and
defending champion Jeff Van Oudenhoven of Kimberly, WI. His Monte Carlo is prepared
by former Matt Kenseth short track car owner Mike Butz of Green Bay, WI. Some
of the other early entries include Buddy Benedict of Independence, MO; Blake
Bjorklund of Isanti, MN; Jimmy Stewart of Belton, MO; Troy Nelson of Antigo,
WI; Billy Discoll of Leavnworth, KS; Dustin Reeh of Council Bluffs, IA; Chris
Grimes of Green Bay, WI; Tony Sawyer of Kansas City, KS; Ron Hartford of Raytown,
MO; Trent Snyder of Ironton, MN; Jenny White of Lawrence, KS; Dexter Bean of
Westby, WI; Bob Ryan of Grove, OK; Ryan Manthei of Green Bay, WI; Garrett Stonum
of Lawson, MO; and Adam Royale of Farmington, MN.
The Yellow Book USA Mid-Am Super Trucks will also be part of
