SAUK CENTRE, MN -- Jeff Van Oudenhoven of Kimberly, WI is expected to wrap up his second straight Yellow Book USA Midwest AllStar late model title this weekend at the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN. Van Oudenhoven leads Blake Bjorklund of Isanti, MN 1,044 to 891 in the point standings. The points were adjusted this week with each driver dropping their lowest race of the year.

Racing begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19. There will be a $4,500 to win Ulitmate Showdown 40-lap feature Saturday. Sunday's racing is highlighted by a 150-lap Yellow Book USA MARS feature with a possible to win of $5,000 on the line. The Yellow Book USA Mid-Am stock cars and super trucks are also in competion on the 3/8-mile paved oval along with numerous other divisions.

The MARS late model race for third overall in the points is very tight. Green Bay, WI drivers Chris Grimes and Ryan Manthei are third and fourth with 760 and 758 points respectively. Trent Sndyer of Ironton, MN is close behind with 757.

Former NASCAR driver Dick Trickle is scheduled to compete in the late model division both days. For additional information call the raceway at 320-352-5263.
