Veteran NASCAR Elite driver Ron White plans to compete in Mid-Am truck class
SPRINGHILL, KS -- Veteran NASCAR Auto Zone Elite division driver Ron White of Springhill, KS is headed to the Mid-Am Super Truck Series in 2005 with a brand new Chevrolet truck sponsored by At Most Energy. The super truck 2005 opener is Friday night, May 13 at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI. "We've run Madison International before in the NASCAR Touring car. We are familiar with that track," White said. 'It was just costing us too much to stick with the Touring division," White said. "We've decided to sell that equipment and try the super truck thing. We can run at our home track at I-70 Speedway," White pointed out. "We are really looking forward to the I-70 series races and the $5,000-to-win show at the end of the year. We also happy to see The Milwaukee Mile on the super truck schedule," he stated.
