Kluever enters MARS race at Madison International Speedway
OREGON, WI --Todd Kluever, the rookie point leader in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has entered the Midwest AllStar Racing Series (MARS) 100-lap event planned Friday night, Sept. 2 at Madison International Speedway. Kluever, the 2001 MARS and Madison International Speedway late model champion, will drive a Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Gerry Gunderman.
Other top entries include Milwaukee Mile MARS winner Jeremy Miller of Rockton, IL, MARS point leader Jeff Van Oudenhoven of Kimberly, WI, and MARS rookie point leader Dean Cornelius of Chaska, MN. The Mid-Am Super Truck Series will also be completing their Triple Crown at Madison International Speedway with a 40-lap feature. Mark Storlie of Elko, MN leads both the Triple Crown and Mid-Am Series points with his Chevrolet super truck.
Practice begins at 4:45 p.m. with qualifying at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. on the high banked half-mile paved oval. The track is located on Sunrise Road, off of State Road 138 between Oregon and Stoughton, WI.
