Bob Menor takes the feature!!!

August 20, 2004, Norway, MI. - Truckland Inc. of Kingsford sponsored
last Friday night's event at Norway Speedway. The cooler temperatures made for
a modest crowd but they were treated to plenty of hot action in the 4 divisions.
Scott Stanchina and Bruce White exchanged the lead 8 times in
10 laps during the Pepsi Late Model dash. Stanchina hung on to win his first
dash in his young career. The GM crate engine stole the show in the Pepsi Late
Model feature event as GMC driver Scott Degnan lead the first 22 laps only to
be overtaken by GMC driver Bob Menor on lap 23. Three-time track champion Bob
Menor went on to win his second feature of the season over Mike Reichenberger
of Appleton. Scott Degnan, Dick Coleman, and Peanut Stankowicz rounded out the
top 5. Pete Polini won the B-feature with Brian Suhs finishing second and Adam
Menor taking 3rd.
Mark Bubloni led all 30 laps of the Auto Value Super Stock feature
with 2-time champion Jeff Boettcher coming in second. Terry Reed took third.
John McDonald had his best finish in 4th and Mike Bubloni was 5th. Veteran Super
Stock driver Bob Zeugner made his first appearance of the season winning the
B-feature. Mike Kudick took second and Chris Gardipee finished 3rd.
The Slammer dash was won by Travis Reidell. The feature was
won by Tim Pollard. The Fab Four dash was won by Rob Skog. The A feature was
won by Brett Bray, the B by Bill Neering Jr., and the C by #73.
This week will be one of the Speedway's biggest events of the season. It is the 3rd leg of the Auto Value series and the monster truck Devastator will make its appearance. Mark Schroeder's monster truck has risen to national prominence and will once again put on a lengthy exhibition
