There were no special attractions on Econo Foods night at Norway Speedway this past Friday. There was just good, exciting stockcar racing. Jamie Iverson of Hyde, MI might be enjoying one of his best seasons ever. He took fast time and finished third in the dash and feature at W.I.R. on Thursday night before coming to Norway. Here, he was the fast qualifier and won the feature event from the rear of the field. Iverson has won 3 of 5 feature events this season in the Pepsi Late Model division. Bob Menor was second followed by Kris Kelly, Mike Reichenberger, and John Novara. Fred Gignac won the B-feature with Rob Manninen coming in second.

The Auto Value Super Stock feature was won by Tom Neeley of Norway. Mike Bubloni Jr. won second with Jeff Boettcher, Terry Reed, and John Komp rounding out the top 5. Mike Kudick won the B-feature followed by Matt Wilcox and Tim Krans.

Travis Ridell won the slammer main and Fab-4 dash winner was Dave Knutson. Fab-4 feature winners were Bryce Cuggino, Don Jones, and Tony Wells.

This week marks the return of NASCAR short track legend Dick Trickle. Trickle hasn’t raced at the speedway since 1987 and has spent the last 10 years running in the NASCAR Nextel Cup series with several different teams.
