Kelly, Bubloni take A features at Norway Speedway

Racing returned Friday at Norway Speedway for the Memorial day weekend racing program. Northside Bumper to Bumper of Iron Mountain and Menor Trucking of Wausakee welcomed back many time track champion, Bob Iverson to the action. The Pepsi Late Model feature started with early contact between front row starters Kevin Beyer and John Novara. With Bob Iverson leading, Bob Menor and Kris Kelly would come together bringing out the caution. During the caution, Bruce White and Doug Kamin collided resulting in Kamin's car parked on the roof of White's. The winner of the Pepsi Late Model A feature was Kris Kelly followed by Bruce White, Mike Riechenberger, Bob Iverson, and Bob Menor. 

Bret Widdis came from the back to the front to win the Late Model B feature followed by Brian Suhs, Allan Yelles, Paul Radovich, and Ken Bower.
The Late Model dash winner was Doug Kamin followed by Bob Menor and Eugene Gregorich. The first heat of the Late Model division was won by Kevin Beyer followed by Brian Sluhs and Allan Yelle. The second heat winner was Fred Gignac followed by John Novara and Dan Lindsley.

The fast qualifier was Eugene Gregorich with a time of 14.610 seconds.
 
The Auto Value Super Stock A feature started with an early caution causing Mike Bubloni to receive the lead which he would hold throughout the race. Bubloni was followed by John McDonald, Matt Parkansky, Jeff Beottcher, and Tim Jarvis. Ryan Hood came from the back to the front to take the win in the Auto Value Super Stock B feature followed by Steve Sorenson, Jason Blohm, Mark Verba, and Jim Beauchamp Jr.

The Auto Value Super Stock dash was won by last weeks A feature winner, Terry Reed followed by Jeff Beottcher and Ron Jenshak. The first heat winner was Steve Sorenson followed by Jason Blohm and Jim Beauchamp Jr. The second heat of the division was won by Mike Bubloni followed by Cal Lamaroux and Nick Anderson. The fast qualifier for the Super Stock division was John Komp with a time of 15.838 seconds.
 
Menominee's, Brian Smith led most of the race to win his first Slammer feature followed by Neil Varda, John Mattia Jr, Travis Rieddel, and Allan Beattie.
 
The Fab 4 A feature was won by Cody Skogs followed by Gerald Dugree Sr, and Mark Moraska. The Fab 4 B feature winner was Jesse Hedlund followed by Tom Mott and Dave Knutson. The C feature was won by Jim Stanchina followed by Chris Lucas and Ben Buckland.
 
Next weeks racing program will be Round 1 of the Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Challenge Series. 1000 dollars will be awarded to the Late Model Feature winner and 500 dollars will be given to the Super Stock A feature winner.
 
Gates open at 5:00.
Qualifying begins at 6:15.
Races begin at 7:30.
