(Plymouth) It was a great night of racing at Plymouth Dirt Track this Saturday. The hot, humid weather didn't prevent fans from coming to watch the best racing action in the area.

The Grand National division was first in the rotation for the four divisions. Phil Coppersmith of Plymouth beat Brian Goetsch in the first heat. While Jeremy Sauter of Random Lake beat Luke Scholten of Oostburg in the second heat. The Sprint cars were third in the rotation. Rob Pribnow of Mayville grabbed the win in the third heat over Danny Schlafer of Sussex. In the second B-main, sophomore driver Brandon Thone of Sheboygan raced his way into the A-main and victory lane over Kenjay Fiedler (Sheboygan Falls) and Tony Wondra (Campbellsport). That was Thone's first win in the Sprint division.

In the 25 lap A-main feature Pribnow and Troy Wondra of Lomira had a couple of hot rods under them and battled hard with Pribnow eventually coming out ahead and picking up the win with Troy Wondra in second. Wernes Jr finished third. Terry Marten of Sheboygan Falls was fourth, and Al Schlafer finished fifth.

During the second heat race for the Sprints, Josh Walter of Plymouth hooked the berm and was sent tumbling in turn 4, he was able to get out of his car and walk away from the wreck.
