Hope everyone had a great Christmas or continuing to enjoy your holiday season.
I just posted my new column on the site with my thoughts and suggestions for the upcoming season. I think the opportunity is there to make it a great one.
Also, the local racing scene lost a quiet and great competitor this past weekend. Tod Kropf of Watertown passed away from complications from a recent heart surgery. He was 47 years old, and will be truly missed in the racing community.
He planned on competing in some ASA Midwest Tour events in 2008. It would have been great to see him come and compete. He was someone who always raced on a limited budget and was proud to have an open hauler, he was a true local racer.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to know Tod that well and I wished I did. Because he would be one story worth writing about.
Hope you have a great and safe 2008.
