Sunday August 12, 2007 Seymour Speedway is holding a Public Safety Event Day at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour. This pre-race event is open to the public and is free. The pre-race event runs from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M.
Visitors will be able to try their driving abilities while under the simulated influence of the Seymour Police Department "Fatal Vision" driving course. Vehicles and equipment from area Fire and Rescue units will be available for viewing.
Eagle III Rescue Helicopter will be on hand along with the Brown County DARE Corvette. Parents will receive free Child ID kits from Liberty Mutual.
Seymour Speedway's Sizzling Summer Sundays Race Program will follow the Public Safety Event with special races including a "Cops vs. Firemen" race and a special appearance by IMCA Hobby Stocks.
