Shawano Speedway is introducing a drivers fund for our weekly Saturday night racing program. Pit passes will go up to $20.00, and for each pass sold $3.00 will go into the drivers fund. Drivers must race in 80% of our weekly races to qualify for the fund.

Example: 100 cars race 80%, and there is $20,000.00 in the point fund.

$20,000.00 / 100 cars= $200.00 per car.

Three drivers from each class will be elected by their class to help decide how the money should be divided within their class. Please disregard the previous program involving grandstand receipts.

Reminder..... New Date for the Shawano Car Show at the Shawano Expo...Friday April 9, 2004
Set up: Noon - 6 and Thursday night 6 - 8 Open to public Friday 5 PM - 9 PM

Lorna Folk will be on hand to demonstrate the Hans device. All drivers are requested to take part in this car show to let the fans get an up close and personal look at your cars before the first race.....Division techs will also be on hand to make those preseason inspections.

We also still have some room open for the Fox River Mall car show...if you can be ready by March 26 give me a call and I will save you a spot. Over 1 MILLION people go through that mall every weekend!! Talk about exposure for your sponsors!!!

Don't forget to send in your pit parking fees before March 1 to save some $$ and to reserve your spot from last year.
