Another Earnhardt is going to Challenge the Slinger High Banks

(Slinger, WI) July 3 – Kerry Earnhardt will be following his Late Fathers footsteps to Slinger Speedway by competing in the Miller Lite Slinger Nationals race on July 12. The eldest of the Earnhardt children, Kerry is the first Earnhardt to challenge the High Banks of Slinger since his father did in the '80's.
Along with Earnhardt, visiting NASCAR stars Ron Hornaday, Kenny Wallace, Todd Kluever, and Dick Trickle are set to challenge top Midwest late model drivers and defending Nationals champions, Lowell Bennett, Tony Strupp, David Prunty, and Conrad Morgan. These heavy hitters will vie for the Larry Detjens Memorial Trophy and Miller Lite Nationals title in the 250-lap late model main event.
Advance tickets for the July 12th Miller Lite Nationals are now on sale at the Slinger Speedway track office or at Pioneer Plaza, located at Highways 41& 145 in Richfield. Fans can save $2.00 when they purchase tickets in advance before Saturday, July 9th at 4 p.m.
Spectator gates open at 3 p.m. with qualifying beginning at 4:30 pm and events to follow. The 250 lap Late Model feature will follow the preliminary events which include Midwest Sportsman races. Fans will also be treated to an autograph session with the NASCAR stars and former Champions. The rain date is Wednesday, July 13th.
