9-25-04-After many years of owning and operating several different teams in northeastern Wisconsin, Jack Williams has decided to retire from racing due to personal reasons. The #49 Team and Ryan Manthei would like to thank Jack for giving them the opportunity to race week in and week out. Williams gave Manthei a Limited Late Model ride in 2003 after discovering Manthei, who at the time was competing in a Mid-American Stock Car at the 141 Speedway.

Williams would give Manthei a Super Late Model ride in 2004 which was Williams second Late Model team with #17 of Terry Korth fielding the other car weekly at Wisconsin International Raceway. After achieving a top five in the Midwest All-Star Racing Series points in 2004, Manthei will still be fielding a Late Model in 2005 and is actively securing sponsorships and making arrangements for next year.
